Made from natural raffia braid, this soft, comfortable Palma Fedora by Deborah Hutton has a 7cm brim and a 4-strand raffia headband, knotted on the side. Small DH stud in antique bronze sits above the side knot. It’s very simple and understated. Internal, ComfyFit adjustor conforms to your head size.

FABRICATION
Madagascan Raffia Braid Raffia Braid is a hand-woven, natural fibre. These hats have a casual aesthetic and a certain amount of informality in shape can be expected over time. They should not be packed flat into a suitcase for travel. If your hat develops some creasing, a warm iron, gently applied, will improve its finish. We do not recommend getting your Raffia hat wet, if you do pat it dry with a towel. Whilst the hat is drying use your hands to reform the hat to its original shape.

CARE
To clean your Raffia hat – spot clean with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent, then allow to dry naturally. For any stains consult a professional dry cleaner.

Selecting a hat size for you is not an exact science. Much depends upon what feels comfortable for you, but keep in mind that all Canopy Bay hats are adjustable using the internal ComfyFit device. A slight tightening of the ComfyFit achieves a more customised fit and provides security in heavy winds.

To measure your head size, simply pass a soft measuring tape around your head, above the ears - where a hat should sit

Smaller head size is about 56cm (S/M)

Average head size is about 58cm (M/L)

Larger head size is about 60cm (L/XL)

You can adjust a 56cm hat down to about 53cm

You can adjust a 58cm hat down to about 55cm

You can adjust a 60cm hat down to about 57cm

So, if you measure 56cm or smaller, select a S/M (56cm) hat. If you measure between 56cm and 58cm, select a M/L (58cm) hat. If you measure between 58cm and 60cm, select a L/XL (60cm) hat.
