GOLD VERMEIL
Gold vermeil is a technique where gold is applied to sterling silver. Gold vermeil uses the same plating technique to standard plating but has a thicker layer of gold, the plating is required to be 2.5 microns thick. This is 5 times thicker than normal gold plating therefore making it far more long-lasting and durable than gold plating. Gold Sister's plating is 18K gold.

BASE METAL
The base metal used in Gold Sisters vermeil jewellery is 925 sterling silver.

CARE
Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions and chemicals.
Remove your Gold Sister before showering and swimming.
Never use a ‘jewellery’ cleaner – as these will strip away the gold plating. To lightly clean, use a soft, lint-free cloth.
